Visiting Italians- all physicians coming to do their international rotation in their mountain masters program. Learning from Jason... the best.

As some of you already know, I took first place in the annual Yank & Yard climbing competition. This means I'm best in Albuquerque, which is ok but I am definitely inspired to push the limits now. After watching the professionals (the guys and girls who are paid to climb and do nothing else) my mind was totally blown...

We have continued our usual dog dates. This is where Jason and I show up with a bunch of other well-to-do Sandia homeowners and proceed to socialize with all the pups and ignore all the humans.

Here's Winnie watching her papa climb in Gillman Tunnels, Jemez. You can't tell but there's a fairly sizeable stream by her cute little paws. She and Forrest has such a fun time getting all muddy and tramping all over our rope.

And last but not least, our pomegranate tree gave us about 30 fruits this year. Needless to say we have been having pomegranate EVERYTHING. If any of these sound delicious, shoot me a text and I'll send you the recipe: pomegranate martini (pictured above), pomegranate salsa, pomegranate lemon bars, pomegranate ice cream.
